Life with the family can have its challenges. Sometime we wish they would all disappear. One Christmas this becomes a reality for Kevin (Macaulay Culkin) when his family accidentally leave him behind. His family are on holiday, he’s 10 years old, and home alone. He can do WHATEVER he wants; watch scary movies and eat junk. However, when thieves ‘the wet bandits’ make the most of helping themselves to the spoils of unattended homes over Christmas, both Kevin and the bandits get more than they bargained for. With some of the most hilarious and memorable mayhem in cinemas history, Kevin discovers that the true meaning of Christmas (and life) lies not always in the things we want for ourselves; but in encounters with the difficult and the unwanted.
